there is already download content being released on halo. it is called the noble map pack and it will have three new multiplayer maps in it. breakpoint is a large outdoor winter like map. anchor 9 will be a space map where half the map in inside the ship and the other half is outside. tempest is a very large outdoor map with a few cannons to help you get around faster. all three will have lots of vehicles and will be used for almost all gametypes.

the makers of halo have announced that they are starting something new with the credit system. now if you play an unknown amount of games without quitting, you will receive a large bonus in the slot machine after the game.
only very few people have got it so far but it is still unknown exactly how many games you must play without leaving to get the jackpot. i will definitely be looking forward to possibly getting it.  it is said to give you ten times as many credits as you would normally get for finishing one game without quitting.

new ranks

recently the players of halo reach, reached 117 million challenges done. everyday there are different challenges put on the game that can be completed to get extra points. there was a lock on the rank that players could reach until they completed enough challenges. now it has been completed and a lot of new ranks have been unlocked.
